The purpose of our Food Control Plan is to ensure all possible steps/procedures are taken to prevent Food Contamination. Potentially ‘food contamination’ can result in ‘severe sickness’ to the end users. Audits are completed internally by a third party at regular intervals. As an operator, it is the operator’s duty and responsibility to carry out correctly all procedures, as to minimise the risk of food being contaminated. Audits require sign off to be able to continue as a processing operator under the Food Control Plan.

At Gropak traceability of our products is essential. Each bag of produce can be individually traced back to the grower and paddock the product was grown in via a line number.
